From discovering opportunities to commercialisation, we offer end-to-end expertise in respiratory care.

We’ve been creating respiratory medtech devices with our partners for over 20 years, however, what truly distinguishes us is our holistic approach that extends beyond mere product development.

Expertise in respiratory care; from physiology to safety

From discovering opportunities to commercialisation, we offer end-to-end expertise in respiratory care:

  • Physiology: Patient interfaces (nose, airway, face, torso) pose unique challenges. Facial interfaces require meticulous design for sensitivity and comfort, while torso interfaces accommodate diverse clothing and movement.
  • Comfort Seal: Therapeutic interventions must consider bodily resilience (bronchi, larynx, face) and conditions like breath activation algorithms, biometric sensors, or aerosol generation for absorption.
  • Safety: Safety is paramount considering the sensitivity of the respiratory system. Therefore, we design mechanisms, including pumps, electronics, and sensors, to regulate flow, pressure, and gas mix (e.g. to prevent the accumulation of rebreathed CO2), with meticulous care.

Our unique approach involves challenging the status quo, questioning assumptions to uncover solutions that are not just desirable but also feasible and viable. This approach ensures that our solutions make a tangible difference in patients’ lives.

Why partner with IDE Group?

Our extensive experience in respiratory care provides a solid foundation for creating safe and effective devices that achieve commercial success.

  • IDE’s streamlined processes excel in navigating crowded therapeutic spaces.

  • Adhering meticulously to ISO13485 guidelines, we maintain the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance throughout the process.

By collaborating closely with our partners, we ensure that our solutions evolve to meet the changing needs of the industry and deliver maximum value to patients.
