Niranjana is in her final year of Software Engineering at the University of Sydney. She has experience working on software projects and has developed a webapp for an external client's business during her capstone. This year, she is researching into unfairness and bias in Generative AI for her thesis. She likes building software for good and is interested in applying her skills to help develop medical devices at IDE and looks forward to learning new skills along the way. Outside of work and studies, she likes spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and crocheting.
