Studying a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) at Macquarie University, Daniel began his engineering career working for a small business that saw the successful development and delivery to market of a powered wheelchair. During this time, he has gained significant exposure to the demands small entrepreneurship endeavours face, and how to look for the opportunities to generate the most value out of a given situation. Through his time at Concourse Assistive Technology, he has been exposed to the impact that business relationships can have on the success of a project. Ensuring that partners are met with professionalism and effective communication ensures that trust is bolstered, which greatly improves market outcomes. Daniel benefited from the mentorship that his previous role provided, and ensuring that knowledge is shared and your peers are assisted to grow is one of Daniel's core values. Embracing the high velocity required to emerge from this process with a successful product, he has a solid foundation to bring value to IDE and their future endeavours.
