IDE Group Rotterdam is currently seeking a lead engineer to join our engineering team in Rotterdam—someone who has proven expertise and experience in the world of medical device engineering.

You will be responsible for providing the technical vision for the product and leading the technical processes development for the team to execute the project. You will work closely with our project lead to ensure we create valuable ventures, products, and services by balancing quality, time, and budget.

A selection of your responsibilities includes: product leadership, prospecting & proposals, project planning, technical execution, risk management, reviews & approvals, facilities & support, and mentorship.

• Someone who recognizes themselves in the words curious, empathetic, courageous, and authentic.
• Bachelor or Master diploma in mechatronics, mechanical (design)engineering or, biomechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
• Over 5 years of experience as a lead engineer or project leader within medical devices and Research & Developmentproduct development.
• Experienced with CAD software (Solidworks and/or Creo/Pro-e).
• Familiar with the quality standards ISO9001, ISO13485, GMP.
