Last weekend IDE Group’s Design and Entrepreneurship Leader Chris Krainer participated in the judging and mentoring process of the annual Society of Medical Innovation (SOMI) Health Innovation Hackathon. This event was held in collaboration with the MedTech Actuator, FLEDGE Innovation and NSW Founders program.
Chris and the rest of the judges had the challenging job of choosing a winner. This was SOMI’s largest health hackathon yet with over 50 applicants, producing 11 innovative ideas over 3 intensive days that all have the potential to impact Australia’s healthcare system. IDE congratulates not only the winners of the hackathon but team that participated.
